Credentials

I am a well-trained and experienced literacy teacher who works with students in all grade levels and abilities and has extensive knowledge about the treatment of dyslexia and related learning disabilities. I have gained a wealth of training and experience throughout my career, implementing the most effective, research-based reading programs, evidence-based interventions, and targeted assessments.  

 

My credentials include the following:

  • Orton-Gillingham, Certified, Level 2, Orton-Gillingham Academy (AOGPE), an accredited program

  • Structured Literacy Specialist, C-SLDS, The Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI)

  • Knowledge and Practice Examination of Effective Reading Instruction (KPEERI)

  • Association of Educational Therapist (AET), associate member​​

  • International Dyslexia Association (IDA), member

  • The Reading League, member

M.Ed. Elementary Education (1-6), and an M.Ed. Reading and Literacy (K-12) from Boston College
